Alison Schook has been Secretary to the Board of CCPL since 2021.  She is a mother of four and has served the public at Natural Grocers for eight years.  Alison is a perpetual student and accomplishes things with passion and ambition.

CCPL is important to Alison because of its shared values of nurturing community and land. Currently reading Braiding Sweetgrass.

Mission

Community Connections Project of Longmont (a Public Benefit 501c3 nonprofit) is established to facilitate and sponsor community projects that promote healthy and sustainable relationships between humans, animals and nature in a manner that results in increased opportunity for independent living, civic engagement and intergenerational/inter-ability alliances.
