Tina Nuechterlein

Tina Nuechterlein, a longtime resident of the Longmont area, possesses a wide range of interests and a calling to serve.  Tina is currently a Broker/Realtor, but over the years she has held a variety of jobs including farm hand and computer programming.  Her education consists of a BA in Computer Science from SUNY New Paltz in 1985 and AAS in Electronics Engineering Technology from Michigan Tech in 1982.  In her youth, she witnessed her mother build a career around supporting people’s needs from Adult Foster Care for the elderly followed by work with mentally and physically challenged adults transitioning from institutions.  This inspired Tina’s passion for mental health and the role a community can play in helping to support people who find themselves lost in society.

Some of Tina’s other passions include travel, gardening, art, architecture and watching sports.  Ms. Nuechterlein’s varied interests, wealth of professional experience and longstanding participation in the community in and around Longmont is a wonderful asset to CCPLongmont.

Mission

Community Connections Project of Longmont (a Public Benefit 501c3 nonprofit) is established to facilitate and sponsor community projects that promote healthy and sustainable relationships between humans, animals and nature in a manner that results in increased opportunity for independent living, civic engagement and intergenerational/inter-ability alliances.
